CSS currently provides ongoing electrical inspection and maintenance services for 147.6 MWdc of solar assets in North Carolina. The senior leadership team brings a diversity of expertise from their previous careers at Underwriter Laboratories (UL), Appalachian State University Energy Center, Joule Energy, and Carolina Solar Energy in the areas of distributed generation control and design, compliance engineering, energy performance modeling, and utility solar EPC.


In addition to our inventory of standard diagnostic and repair equipment, our team maintains the skills and qualifications to quickly remedy any PV maintenance issue, including:

• North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Installation Professional
• North Carolina Professional Engineers licensure
• North Carolina Electrical Contractor licensure

We provide 24×7 monitoring for our customers along with performing manufacturer suggested equipment maintenance. CSS also stores and maintains an inventory of spare components for each system we service to ensure rapid replacement of common failure items.
